The purpose of Littleones Film Festival is to showcase amateur films created by kids (ages 16 and below), on a stage usually reserved for Hollywood blockbusters. Littleones Film Festival aims to encourage kids to get creative, and have fun making movies. Partnering with schools across Victoria, the film festival is able to promote creativity by offering prizes to kids, as well as providing a platform for these films to be screened to a large audience, an unique experience for these talented kids. Months before the actual film festival is scheduled to take place, a competition is held for kids ages 16 and below to enter their film into. The winners of this competition not only win prizes, but their films and screened at the festival, creating a festival is extremely community driven.
